We have a couple of events happening later this week. Five year old Isabella Hawkins (who is in Daniel's year at school) is planning a sponsored bike ride, and is hoping to get round 15 Cheltenham parks in one day! She was originally planning to do it last Sunday, but had to delay due to our rather unpredictable weather. However, she is hoping to manage it this coming Sunday (24 June). For more information, please go to isabellasbikeride.blogspot.co.uk
Also this week, on Friday 22 June, the 'Thursday Mums' Group' and their children are hoping to complete their 2 mile sponsored walk, which is a long way when you consider that some of the little ones taking part are only 3 years old.
There's still time to sponsor either Isabella or the Thursday Mums (and their children). Just pop a donation on Daniel's Justgiving page, mentioning in the message whom you are sponsoring.
Good Luck everybody, and thank you for supporting Daniel!

Football and other things
A big thank you to local business man and ex-Cheltenham Town player Paul Collicutt, who had the idea of auctioning off two tickets in a hospitality box for the Cheltenham vs Crewe game at Wembley. He raised £400 for Daniel, and his generous act gave us a bit more coverage in The Echo. His support also resulted in other donations, in particular a donation of £1000 from a local gentleman who would prefer to remain anonymous. We are hugely grateful to him and all our other donors. Meanwhile we now have several events being planned, including cake sales, a couple of triathlons, a sponsored walk, a family fundraising day and a brave young man who is planning to shave his head for Daniel! I hope to publish details and dates on here very soon. Of course, we would love to hear from anybody that has fundraising ideas!
